Epidemilogist have know for years that travel bans and restrictions are not effective during times of a pandemic. This is because there's no way to prevent cases from spreading everywhere. Travel bans and restrictions can cause severe disuptions, particularly severe economic disruptions, Why now, after about two years of covid, is the media now reporting this vital fact? Perhaps they too are "fed up" with governments?
