Online Business Brokers

Does anyone have experience with buying an existing online business? I have just been browsing, and there are a lot of online businesses for sale that claim to profit several times the asking price in the first year. I've attached an example below. For an asking price of $15,582, they claim a profit that amounts to $36,000 return in 12 months.

Hi guys, this challenge must be the easiest ever proposed on the forum, all you have to do is 100 pushups with good form per day for 30 days, no matter how you do them, all in one sitting or spread out during the day.

I just failed my first attempt after 5 days...
So I'm debating wheter to restart today or tomorrow.

First Investment Property

So I closed on my first investment property yesterday. It’s a 1900 sq ft, 4 bed, 3 bath, ranch style lake home on .9 acres. The plan is to renovate and sell within a year. Possibly use as a vacation rental but leaning more towards selling. I want to use the profits made from this flip to buy another home more suited for long term rentals.

It hasn’t been occupied for a solid year but it’s in pretty good shape. It needs flooring, wallpaper removal, painting, a new back deck, a few windows and...

Equipment for YouTube channel

Hi!

Some time ago, I started my journey with an YouTube channel, it's something really great, that I truly enjoy!
My main struggle right now is the gear, that I'm using at the moment - it's simply built in camera and microphone in my laptop. I would love to change that, but my budget is limited, so these are my options:
1. Buy a phone that would be my camera and microphone for some time - I just don't want to waste any time NOT creating videos and improving my skillset as videomaker. The...

How does the economy really work? (Banks, loans, value, economics)

So I'm trying to formulate my idea of how the economy works and would like others to think about this too.

New money is created via debt - yes or no?

Banks lend out money, often in the form of either a business loan or a mortgage.

So let's say that I get a business loan and I hire 20 people. Those 20 people each get mortgages. Their work pays down my business loan over time, and in return I pay them wages or salaries, which they use to pay down their mortgages over time.

This would...

Start a new company in Ireland or in the UK?

I want to start a new company that provides services to other real estate companies (business to business).
It will be an internet company but I will need to relocate to the place where I will be operating.

Below I list the advantages that these 2 locations can provide me.
However I have a really hard time to choose.

Starting a laundromat business

After reading Hakrak's thread on laundomats, and seeing some accurate and some inaccurate statements, I thought I would post what I have learned through my dads 2 laundromats.

1. it often makes sense to buy used rather than building up new. This is due to people poorly managing their laundromats after investing thousands in equipment. Amazon FBA - Violation of the Commandment of Control

Hey, everyone!

My name is Igor, I am 17 years old and come from São Paulo, Brazil.

I have been reading The Millionaire Fastlane (I am on chapter 31 now). As I was reading chapter 30 (The Commandment of Control), I realised that the business I was interested in pursuing (Amazon FBA), I realised that this model violates the first Fastlane Commandment, and therefore investing in such business could be a hitchhiking move.

Therefore, what I wanted to ask you guys is: What are your views on...

What various channels do you use to promote B2C businesses?

I'm selling a food product for a particular niche - low carb and no sugar (keto).

I'm currently reaching out to as many people/"influencers" on social media as possible, and I will be starting on ads this week to directly reach potential customers.

Does anybody who has experience selling B2C products with relatively low per unit price points (food is a perfect example of this - clothes as well) have any tips or ideas to improve reach? I am just starting out BTW (starting stage).

Skills to Business

Hi, I have just finished the Millionaire Fastlane. I see a lot of things I definitely did wrong in my life.

I am 31 and I have a bachelor's in creative writing in science (technical writing, copywriting, scientific study writing).

After reading the book, I have always been a fan of copywriting and I know it can be a decent income but it still requires time for money.

I was thinking about learning SEO, Sales, Marketing, and Website design to start an advertising agency for B2B sales...

How do you talk to girls if previously you were considered a weirdo? And in general how do you build rapport with other guys in university/when young?

In my last year of high school right now but havent really been able to talk to any girl. I used to be in a school some years ago and I was considered a weirdo by most girls there. That was very much because of what I did when I was quite young but anyways the problem comes when talking to girls now. I remember back then doing and saying what I wanted to because I thought it wasnt weird but it was. That's the fear I have. What if I talk or message a girl and it's weird? Now say I dont say...

Let's Talk About Entrepreneurial Depression

It's a tough topic, but one that should not be taboo to talk about.

If you choose the life of an entrepreneur, there's one thing you need to accept that's not in almost any business book: Your probability of being depressed, stressed, and anxious skyrockets.

"Depression was the highest-reported reported condition, being present in 30% of all entrepreneurs. ADHD (29%) and anxiety problems (27%) followed close by. That’s a dramatically higher percentage than the US population at...

Selling used technology from Europe to Asia

Hey!

Perhaps there is someone wiser than me and willing to give me a piece of advice here.

How would one get started in the business of buying from a supplier (probably in Europe) and selling it to a customer likely located in Asia? In this case, we are talking about used technology like computers, monitors, and so on and buying/selling them in bulk.

Need Help on US Sales Tax for EU Digital Good Ecommerce

Hello fastlaners. I'm gathering info on how to handle this side of a business I'm starting and need your help.

As you may or may not know, any online business in the EU has to pay VAT tax to the corresponding European country based on where their customers bought their goods or services. How do Third Party Companies Purchase Digital Products at Discounts?

I'm curious how companies such as cdkeys.com can purchase things at such a low discount and resell them for a profit?

For those that don't know, cdkeys is a site that you can purchase the digital code (aka cd key is what they were called 15 years ago) for platforms such as PS4, PC, Xbox, etc. However, they regularly sell them at much less than listed price.

For example, they sell playstation plus yearly membership cards (regular price from Sony is $59.99) for $30. This is not a once a...
