I think I've accidently stumbled upon the cure for obesity.

Hello who ever reads this thread:

You can call me Quantum. And I'm suffering from this rare neurological disorder. That is so rare that nobody is doing research into it, so in order to stall the progress I've been experimenting with some homeopathic medicine. Yeah I know it ain't smart to experiment on yourself but my future is being blind, retarded and ending in a wheel chair if I don't find a way to stall the progress of this disease. And there is a drug that does this but I can't have...

TSLA Stock

So it looks like TSLA is going to the moon right now. Kind of reminds me of Bitcoin back in 2017.

Everyone around me is saying to buy a put or to short the stock, but I've seen people get burned before. It's extremely difficult to call tops.

What does everyone think about TSLA? Is it going to top out at ~$904 or keep going higher?

Hyperinflation worries in the UK & USA warranted?

I have a feeling with the FED and BoE printing a ton of money and providing support to the people without a productive economy could lead to hyperinflation. What do you think is the percentage chance of this happening and is it worth putting more money into commodities or physical assets?

To Those Panicked/Discouraged by the PANDEMIC (or New to FLF)

Four months ago I graduated from college significantly depressed. My biggest life goal had been reached.

It 's ALWAYS been my dream to be a successful entrepreneur. Somewhere along my scripted life I put it on the back-burner. It became something to dream about, smiling to myself thinking "...someday." Then I'd wake up in the cold reality of bills and indentured servitude, jolting me out of bed scrambling to a job I couldn't wait be free from. Making enough money to stay in debt, driving...

A bit of backstory: I'm a freelance writer with an emphasis on organic SEO. Health Insurance Options when leaving employer

Hello all,

In Q1-Q2 in 2021 I will be quitting my W2 job. I am planning for worst-case scenarios for health insurance costs. If I keep my employer's insurance, it will be around $450.
  • Is there any cheaper options or am I better off keeping it? I have savings for high deductibles, I just want insurance for catastrophe (accident, cancer, etc.).
  • Should I expect the costs to be around $400 dollars a month or in your experience any cheaper options?

I run a tutoring business and our website is a simple one-page site, but I've gotten mostly good feedback on it.

Growing a Youtube Channel as Part of My Personal Brand

YouTube is one of the platforms that I plan on building my personal brand on, but this is the one that I see as the most challenging.

I have been at it for four weeks now and my suspicions were correct.

It takes a lot of time to produce one video which means I can currently only commit to putting out one a week, which I think is fine in terms of frequency, but what it does mean is that the feedback loop is extremely long, leading to slower progress than on say Instagram.

Programmer looking for the best way to make money

Hello, my dream is to no longer have to worry about money so I can focus on game development and other things like exercising, socializing etc.

Books like TMF, Unscripted and many more made me face the tangibility of this dream and to learn programming in the first place (in my free time).
It enabled me to quit my training for a really boring job and to land a job as a full stack web developer without any formal training. Since half a year I only have to work 4 days a week with really nice...

Tin Foil Hat Time: Are Aliens Here?

I consider myself open minded and today I'm going to admit that I'm leaning toward the idea that aliens are here and have been visiting Earth ever since the first atomic bomb went off.

While I'm not radically entrenched in that belief (I'd say it fluctuates between 60/40 and 70/30 in favor of aliens are here) I am becoming more acclimatized to the idea. Five years ago I'd say my belief was 40/60, in favor of them NOT being here.

Part of this belief probably evolved from being an...

Do what you love - in recovery

Hey everyone, I am almost finished with the Millionaire Fastlane. This book was a huge eye opener for me.
I saw through the slow lane or thought I did when I quit working in the corporate world as an IT administrator to "do what I love".
I lived as a broke professional musician for awhile. I then started at least 3 other do what you love businesses to try to make up for what I didn't make playing in bars for $150 a night. I am a yoga teacher, dog trainer, massage therapist for horses...

Idea: Remote controlled automatic plant watering

Hi,

okay, this isn't really something new, but during this summer vacation I felt a need for the following item that I would actually buy:

It would be really nice having a cheap automatic plant watering, where there is also the opportunity to control it from remote. I have a lot of sunflowers on my balcony which are quite thirsty in the summer months, needing watering every day.

The idea would be something like I lie somewhere at the beach, open an app on my phone, take a...

18/19 year old with no sense of direction

Hello, I'm FauxPas. An 18 (almost 19) year old who has just finished high school recently. I don't know where to go from here in my life in terms of applying the fast lane in my particular situation. So I want to move out of my parents house but I know that getting a job is an absolute scam for myself in the long term. Hey Everyone,

I've recently read both TMF and Unscripted which I very much resonated with.

I have strong experience in iOS App Development and have released a few apps in the past. I recently sold my first cash flowing app for $800 which although isn't a lot of money in the scheme of things. I did learn a lot though and I'd like to continue down this road.

Ask Me Anything About SaaS ( I'm building my 7th )

Hello everyone.

A lot of you know me for my digital marketing Gold Thread here on the FLF ( see sig ), as well as other posts in the forum.

What you might not know is that I've successfully built 6 profitable SaaS programs either solely by myself, or with a single partner ( and with no other employees other than VA's ), and that I am working on building my 7th SaaS

I've learned a few things in SaaS over the last 7 years that span:

Setting up a company in Hong Kong

Has anyone opened an LLC in Hong Kong?

I'm about to open one. It's my first company and I'm walking blind except for the walking stick that is the internet.

I need to go through an agent but prices vary greatly - 500 to 4k USD for what looks like the same package. Where the Economy is Heading (Follow-Up on "The Coming Recession")

In May 2018, this thread kicked off:

Towards the end of this thread, I suggested that instead of continuing to argue about the current state of economic events (and who was right or wrong in their predictions), it was time to start focusing on what's to come, so that those of us who are trying to profit off future economic shifts can "lock in our bets."

It occurred to me that anyone playing an online Javascript/HTML game could "save" their progress if the backend server could reproduce a game given a timestamp. For example, you are playing an online trivia game, and you "save" the game before lunch.
