In a world of low interest rates and uncertainty in the stock market, becoming a private lender seems to be a no-brainer for wealth preservation and growth.
Typical transactions around my area will net 8-13% or greater annual returns on the money lent and secured against one of the strongest investments out there--Real Estate.
Is anyone here a Mortgagee instead of a mortgagor?
Would love to hear some input of the ups and downs if anyone has experience.
