Older brother just tried to recruit me into a pyramid scheme LOL

So a little background, my older brother has a lot of health issues (started with a genetic thing and kind of spiralled), he had to drop out of his PHD program (got a amsters0 and now lives with my parents (he's in his mid 30's, definitely not the dream life)

So he gets me on the phone a few days ago and tells me he has a gig as a "financial advisor" but he needed to come run his shpiel by me and the wife as part of the training, ok? , I mean thats a little odd but not red flag territory...
