this is symbolic of the hard work most people do .. they are somewhere in the middle of thing putting a lot of effort in ..but not knowing or caring if there is any point.. if this guy was getting paid and the productive stuff ran out ..what happens.. instead of sending the guy home ..or letting the guy sit on his but ...
