A Cautionary Tale About eBay

As many of you know, I have been a fan of eBay for years. I have been active on the eBay marketplace for over a decade both as a seller, and as a buyer. For those of you who follow(ed) our Mind Your Business podcast, we even had the eBay spokesman come on last Fall to talk about becoming an eBay vendor.

Well, a lot has changed on eBay. Over the years, the pendulum has swung back and forth between favoring sellers to favoring customers at the expense of sellers. Now seemingly they've...

Solopreneurs Doing $1M or More...

Nice article on Forbes where an entrepreneur plugged The Millionaire Fastlane and profiled a couple million dollar revenue guys working solo. In @Vigilante 's thread "Changing in Latitudes" we discussed how sweet it is to work alone without the headache and hassles of employees.

Best Way To Monetize the Full-Time RV Niche

Hey guys. So in about a month, my family and I are going to live in an RV (travel trailer specifically) and travel the country. We plan on traveling for about a year until we find the state/town we want to settle down in. We've already started an Instagram account, and I'm in the process of building a webpage, but I was wondering what the best way would be to monetize this niche.

We could do the typical stuff like start the niche site, start an Amazon associates page, try to monetize...

On finding a starving crowd.

So I've been learning copywriting,
And figured
Half of my work is getting the "copy" to the right people.

This became clear to me after reading the boron letters.
Getting a solution while not having a problem is
backasswards.

I'm trying to learn copywriting ( a solution )
That does not seem to have a problem.
That actually sounded pretty stupid considering all businesses need copywriting...

I'm currently learning website copywriting.
But I don't have a focus since there's no problem...

Considering starting a fashion e-commerce store - specific niche

Hi all,

I have been pouring over the threads on here the past few weeks, and have a few ideas I'm working on. My goal for now, is to make some extra cash, so I've been looking at Amazon FBA in the short term...however...

I am a creative person, and in the meantime of making notes everyday from youtube tutorials, these threads, thinking of many different project ideas, I thought about (yet another idea) - a clothing store via Shopify.

I read @Kase forum, so I am well...

Day 37: "Mans Best Friend" now under construction

On day 18 I mentioned that I had been working on a website called "DogPedia", a website meant to give information about dog breeds. Well, I scrapped that project because I wanted to work on something much more ambitious.

It's called: Man's Best Friend

Screenshot (1).png
(Don't judge too soon, it looks like crap bc CSS hasn't been added to the code yet...)

Its not just about dogs anymore. it also features cats, birds, and other types of exotic pets.

Not only...

Anatomy of A Failed Fastlane (What You Can Learn From My Mistakes)

I've been away from the forum for a while.

You may or may not remember me. Either way, that's not important.

I first came here two and a half years ago, a few months after reading TMF. The book that changed my life forever, although not as quickly or as much as I would have liked - for reasons of my own making.

Soppy stuff doesn't come easily to me, but I must take a moment to express my sincere and undying gratitude to @MJ DeMarco. I don't know where I would be or what...

(Audio) Who have you helped?

Here’s a recording of a chat I had with Tony who describes how:
  • One simple question got him unstuck.
  • He's only been on Quora for 30 days helping people.
  • He's only posted 29 times but is now top ranked for his subject matter.
  • His bio sends people to a survey where he asks opened ended questions (as per the Ask book by Ryan Levesque).
  • He's had 300 surveys and email addresses.
  • He's done 5 free 30 minute coaching calls.
  • One free coaching call converted on the spot to...

How do you "get creative"?

So I was torn on whether or not to put this in the books section but i'd like to just have an open ended discussion (book recommendations are welcome but of course you can probably just summarize the key points a bit)

What works for you? what have you heard works for others? , what kills it for you?

We spend all this time on the sort of nitty gritty how to but I think that can leave you with a bit of tunnel vision right?

So what's the fastlane think and do?

Old man tries to start

I nearly refused to start an execution thread because of several reasons.
- i m 54 years old now, I have good slowlane job,
-with rising age my endurance with a business working decreases.
-I see my remaining time being endless,
- I have much fun living, working, making sports and I have good friends for drinking beer, too.
-because these reasons I want and will not spend 60 hours working and thats the reason, why I refused to make a such promise to me or others.

since I fell over the FLM...
