Plan on moving to a start-up favorable country

I currently live in Italy and in the last months I figured out it's perhaps one of the worst countries to start a business due to the bureaucratic system and legal procedures.
I'm at the first year of University but I plan on moving out from my country. In fact, I had to stop a project I started as soon as I found out the tax system in Italy would have brought my income into a negative value.

Unfortunately, my parents want me to finish University so I'm trying to find a country where I can...

The Artist's Way

For the last 2-3 months I've been putting 15-20 hours into my business. I'm a little different from most on this forum because I'm starting with an idea and looking to make it viable rather than choosing a business based on a need. I know myself well enough to know that I can't just do any business based on its potential. I have to do something meaningful to me.

So my businesses are fine art painting and life coaching, but I'm only focused on the art right now. I know what I need to do to...

Anybody else go through a little bit of a rage phase after learning the truth about most 9-5's?

I'm generally a very happy go lucky person. The glass is always half full. When I would work my jobs in the summer or throughout school during the year I was always pretty happy. After all, I didn't know any better. But after I started reading this book I became really upset. I felt like I was lied to my whole life. Suckered into believing I should be ok with a "just over broke". Luckily, I'm not in a regular job anymore...but in hindsight I definitely became upset for a short while during...

Website for Car Enthusiasts - Anyone do similar?

Morning (Well, is here is Australia!),

Over the past few months, I have found the need for a website providing car parts for a particular model car that has experienced a steady increase in value due to popularity over the last couple of years. There is a lack of supply here in Australia for a multitude of parts and a lot of people buying their bits from overseas because of this.

I have sourced multiple suppliers who are willing to work with me, one that has agreed to give me sole rights...

Desert of Desertion

8 years ago, I decided to give entrepreneurship my everything.

And it worked out: 3 years ago I finally chose one business model (web design), and made around 15K total from that.

However, it's really not that much after all, not nearly as much for the sacrifices that I made:

For the past 8 years, I've stopped meeting new people, going to the gym, forgot about my hobbies... all just to have the time and focus for business.

And it makes sense to me: It's not clever to go to the gym, when...

Homeless, but refuse to give up?

I can't talk to anyone in my family or friends about this so here I am.

I made a previous post about how I tried many different online things to get started making money.

My short story is typical. Kid from the ghetto who lived with his mom in hotels, tried college. Wasn't for me. Especially at 23. Realized I'd rather spend my life trying to work for myself than someone else. Especially 4 years. Especially having to live on my own. I needed money ASAP not on even 2 years, hell 3 months...

How do you get out of a funk as an entrepreneur?

I’ve been an entrepreneur since I was 5 years old and selling crayons. But, I’ve been supporting myself as an entrepreneur for almost 7 years.

I will be 25 in January. I’ve been paying my own way from businesses I’ve started since I was 18. I even paid my way through my last two years of college.

Last year my longtime B2B marketing agency failed. It crashed and burned. We were a cold email agency that ran cold email campaigns for marketing agency’s. It’s a long story, but essentially...

How do you decide to leave work to focus 100% on your business, and should I?

Hi all.
So as some of you know, I opend an advanced beauty clinic in august of which I own 25% and 10 weeks ago I opend a new business focusing in importing and selling machines to such clinics.
So far, Im just the middle man for some agencies but I am taking most of my profits and investnig in developing my own brand so I can increase profit by up to 600% per unit I sell, a webpage, more ads, marketing material etc.

Things are so far going well. The machine business has been up and...

It doesn't make sense why someone would want to be a businessman

Why do you want to be a businessman? You know running a business and having a life outside of work don't go together right? It's basically selling your soul for worldly gains. Will you really be happy living in a soulless body no matter how much wealth you've accumulated?

Interested in Digital Marketing? Why not try pay per appointment/show model? Ask anything you need!

I've received lots of invaluable advice on this forum from some wonderful people over the last few years so I thought it's time to give back.

If you are interested in digital marketing and have any questions on the pay per appointment/show model ask any questions here and I'll answer them with that I've learned.

I've gone from getting 2/3 clients in 3 months using the "retainer" model to 28 now in 4 weeks using the pay per show model.

Fire away!

Progress Thread: SAAS and Beyond

Hey gang! I’m jumping in. Like many others have done, I'm starting my own progress thread for the purpose of keeping myself accountable, and to help others learn from my journey.
Quite honestly, I’m starting this journey from sort of a down-and-out state of my life. I won’t go into details, but that’s the reality. Here's the plan.

Goals

  • Build a SAAS (software-as-a-service) “business system” that will set my wife and me free from our day jobs and fund our...

MJ DeMarco and Real estate?

Hi everybody, I'm reading MFL and I've seen that mj demarco indirectly call out rober kiyosaki as a fake guru and that his lessons are not valid as a fast line approach. But also in chapter 29 he says that real estate investment its a fastline way. I'm personally really into learning real estate and i feel a little bit confused by reading the book about this topic. I'm from Italy and real estate here is bad, so my goal is to start real estate in Australia from scratch in the future, in the...

Personal challenge - no porn, no coffee, more discipline!

Hi I am chronicling my challenge.

Background: I am a 35 yo entrepreneur in my 7th year of tech-hood, business are going well and expanding, and there is a chance we can be something bigger. Right now, the firm's limit is my own ability to handle the business and myself, and I've come to realize that personal discipline will be most people's demon, at least it is mine. I want to create the ultimate habit of good life.

No Porn (7th day)
This sounds perverted, but it's something...

ROOTER RANGER - Got my plumbing fixed for $47 last night.

I felt compelled to write this because you just don't have good experiences in general with the service industry. Last night, while I was watching the NBA finals I noticed a smell in the house. At first I thought something died in the attic but when I walked into my bathroom, there was water in the shower drain and it stunk. In my second bathroom, there was also water in the bathtub. So I knew that the problem was house wide and that I wouldn't be able to fix this one.

I'm sure we all...
